AsianFin— TikTok announced plans to significantly expand its presence in the United Kingdom, including opening a new office in London, growing its local workforce, and increasing infrastructure investment.

According to a company statement, TikTok’s UK headcount will rise to 3,000 by the end of the year, with over 500 new positions being created. The new office, located in London’s Barbican district, will exceed the size of its current UK headquarters established in 2022. The facility is expected to open in early 2026.

The expansion will bring TikTok’s total infrastructure investment in the UK to around £140 million, underscoring the company’s long-term commitment to the market.
