AsianFin -- Shopee’s in-house courier service, SPX Express, has entered into a partnership with Frasers Property Vietnam to develop a 170,000-square-meter sorting center in Hung Yen Province, Vietnam.

This facility will be the largest for SPX Express in Southeast Asia. Construction is scheduled to begin in Q3 2025 and is expected to be completed by Q4 2027.

Equipped with advanced two-level automated sorting machines, the center will have a daily capacity to process up to 7 million parcels, marking the highest sorting capability for SPX Express in Vietnam and significantly boosting delivery efficiency.

Vehicles will be able to operate independently on each level, with 158 docks connecting to over 700 sorting destinations, allowing multiple trucks to load and unload simultaneously.

The new sorting center is anticipated to create thousands of jobs, stimulate local economic growth, and enhance Vietnam’s logistics infrastructure.
