AsianFin -- Tesla’s new car registrations in the UK fell more than 45% year-over-year in May, according to preliminary figures released Wednesday by research group New AutoMotive.
The EV maker sold 1,758 vehicles last month, down sharply from 3,244 in the same period last year. The drop comes as Tesla continues to lose ground in Europe, with analysts partly attributing the decline to CEO Elon Musk’s increasingly polarizing political stance.
