AsianFin -- Tesla will begin delivering its first self-driving Model Y vehicles in June, CEO Elon Musk announced on Thursday, signaling a key milestone in the company’s push toward full autonomy.

In a post on X, Musk said the electric vehicle maker has been testing the self-driving version of the Model Y on public roads in Austin, Texas over the past several days “with no incidents.”

The statement suggests Tesla is confident in the safety and readiness of its Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology as it prepares for broader rollout.
