AsianFin -- Foxconn is poised to announce a second partnership with a Japanese automaker, Chairman Young Liu said on Thursday, as the Taiwanese electronics giant continues to expand beyond its core iPhone assembly business.

“Of the two Japanese carmakers we’re working with, one has already been announced, and the other will be revealed soon,” Liu said during the company’s annual shareholders meeting, without disclosing further details.
