AsianFin -- Major Chinese tourist attractions, including Mount Tai, Wugong Mountain, and Mount Hua, have recently introduced exoskeleton robots to enhance visitor experiences.

Mount Tai has garnered widespread attention after offering tourists the chance to rent these cutting-edge devices for assisted hiking at a cost of 80 yuan (approximately $11 USD) per use.

According to the Mount Tai scenic area management, approximately 400 to 500 exoskeleton robots are currently available for rent. During weekends and holidays, visitors are advised to book in advance to secure a device, while rentals can be made on-site during weekdays without prior reservation.

Users of the exoskeleton robots have praised the technology for its versatility and efficiency. The devices allow users to adjust speed settings to suit various terrains, such as steep inclines or flat paths. One hiker shared that wearing an exoskeleton robot significantly reduced the time needed to ascend Mount Tai by at least one hour compared to traditional hiking methods.
