AsianFin -- China on Sunday announced anti-dumping duties of up to 74.9% on imports of polyoxymethylene (POM) copolymers—a type of high-performance engineering plastic—from the United States, the European Union, Japan, and Taiwan region.
The decision follows the conclusion of a trade investigation launched by China’s Ministry of Commerce in May 2024, shortly after the United States imposed steep tariff hikes on Chinese electric vehicles, semiconductors, and other goods.
