Nissan to Slash Over 10,000 Additional Jobs, Bringing Total Cuts to 15% of Workforce

AsianFin -- Nissan Motor plans to cut more than 10,000 additional jobs globally, Japan’s public broadcaster NHK reported on Monday, as the automaker accelerates restructuring efforts amid ongoing struggles.

The latest round of layoffs will push the total number of job cuts to around 20,000, or approximately 15% of Nissan’s global workforce, according to NHK.
