AsianFin -- BMW will begin integrating artificial intelligence developed by Chinese startup DeepSeek into its new models in China later this year, the company's CEO, Oliver Zipse, announced at the Shanghai auto show on Wednesday.

"Significant advancements in AI are taking place here," Zipse said. "We are strengthening AI partnerships to enhance our vehicles in China. Starting later this year, we will integrate DeepSeek's AI technology into our new vehicles."
