AsianFin -- A Boeing aircraft originally bound for a Chinese airline returned to the company’s U.S. production base on Saturday, becoming a casualty of the trade tariffs sparked by former President Donald Trump’s global trade offensive.

The 737 MAX, designated for China’s Xiamen Airlines, touched down at Seattle’s Boeing Field at 6:11 p.m., according to a Reuters witness. The jet still bore Xiamen’s livery.
