China Names New International Trade Representative

AsianFin -- China has appointed a new international trade representative as it navigates a deepening trade war with the United States.

Li Chenggang will take over the role from Wang Shouwen, who was involved in the negotiations that led to the 2020 trade agreement between the world’s two largest economies, according to a government statement released on Wednesday.
