AsianFin -- BMW Group has announced the launch of its 360-degree full-chain AI strategy in China, emphasizing a "human-centric" approach to AI technology. According to the company, the initiative is designed to empower users by integrating advanced AI capabilities across its vehicle lineup.
As part of this strategy, BMW's upcoming next-generation models, set for mass production in 2026, will feature AI-powered enhancements, including an upgraded BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant driven by large language models.
AI agents will be introduced into the vehicle cockpit, enabling human-like interactions, multi-agent collaboration, and seamless ecosystem integration. These advancements will allow BMW’s AI system to accurately capture user intent, interpret complex commands, understand ambiguous language, and conduct rigorous logical reasoning.
BMW also highlighted its open-technology approach, ensuring that these AI-driven innovations will be integrated across all powertrain systems and vehicle models, covering both electric and combustion-engine cars. The initiative underscores BMW’s commitment to AI-driven smart mobility and its efforts to enhance the digital experience for customers in China.
