AsianFin -- DeepSeek has officially released its upgraded DeepSeek-V3 model on open-source platforms on Tuesday.

The new model features 685 billion parameters, marking a significant upgrade.

According to DeepSeek’s official user group, DeepSeek-V3 has undergone a minor version upgrade, and users can now experience it on the official website, app, and mini-program (with deep thinking mode disabled). The API interface and usage remain unchanged.

Early user feedback suggests that V3's coding capabilities now rival Claude 3.7, while its mathematical reasoning has also improved, allowing it to solve problems similarly to advanced inference models.
