AsianFin -- Despite escalating tensions between Washington and Beijing, which have made it increasingly difficult for Chinese companies to develop and market advanced technologies internationally, Chinese AI startup Manycore Tech Inc. is determined to strengthen its global footprint.
Based in Hangzhou, Manycore is a spatial design software provider and a potential competitor to U.S.-based Autodesk Inc. The company has already established local teams in over 10 countries, including the U.S., South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia, to cater to enterprise clients.
“Every country needs our product, but we need to prioritize certain markets to focus on,” said Victor Huang, co-founder and chairman of Manycore, in an interview with Bloomberg TV on Wednesday. “Our global business is growing rapidly, particularly with the freemium model. We see tremendous potential for globalization.”
Manycore’s ambitious expansion highlights its confidence in overcoming geopolitical challenges and leveraging its innovative solutions to capture international markets.
