Mercedes-Benz (China) has announced the recall of certain imported S-Class vehicles produced between May 3, 2017, and May 2, 2018, according to the State Administration for Market Regulation.A total of 13 vehicles are recalled.
The issue arises from the installation of incorrect software versions for the engine control unit and transmission control unit during after-sales service, which resulted in non-compliance with vehicle emission standards and onboard diagnostic system requirements, posing potential emissions risks.
