The remarks came after Musk’s speech at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in August, where he had a fireside chat with the Academy's Academic Board Chairman, U.S. Army Brigadier General Shane Reeves. On Thursday, Musk shared the video on social media platform X.

In the fireside chat, Musk noted, "The current war in Ukraine is largely a drone war," adding that if a large-scale war were to break out, it would likely be dominated by drones as well. Musk urged the U.S. to increase investment in drones and enhance domestic production capabilities.
