EU Says Facebook, X and YouTube Committed to Fighting Online Hate Speech

AsianFin -- The European Union has said that Facebook, X, and YouTube have pledged to take further measures to combat online hate speech.

Meta's Facebook, Elon Musk's X, Google's YouTube, and other tech companies have agreed to step up their efforts against online hate speech in accordance with an updated code of conduct, which will now be integrated into EU tech regulations.

Other signatories of the voluntary code established in May 2016 include Instagram, LinkedIn, Microsoft’s consumer services, Snapchat, TikTok, and Twitch.
