AsianFin -- Nvidia’s CEO Jensen Huang praised Elon Musk at CES for his impressive strides in artificial intelligence, highlighting Musk’s work in cognitive intelligence, autonomous driving, and robotics.
In a recent interview with Bloomberg TV at CES, Huang lauded Musk’s significant advancements in AI. He emphasized Musk’s unique advantage in gathering real-world data, particularly through Tesla’s AI-powered factories, autonomous driving algorithms, and extensive fleet of vehicles.
“He’s in a phenomenal position and has been working on this for a long time,” Huang stated. “He’s well-positioned to leverage these advancements.”
Huang further applauded Musk’s focus on AI, particularly his work with cognitive intelligence at his xAI startup, Tesla’s autonomous driving technology, and the development of the Optimus humanoid robot. “These are the three most important areas of AI,” he said. “He’s working on exactly the right things.”
While Huang anticipates Musk will have a lasting influence on the AI sector, he also predicted a major shift in data processing. “In the coming years, we’ll see a transition from traditional general-purpose computing to a new era focused on artificial intelligence and accelerated computing,” Huang added.
