AsianFin  – China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) has announced an extension of the anti-dumping investigation into brandy imports originating from the European Union.

According to the statement, the investigation was initially launched on January 5, 2024, following MOFCOM's Announcement No. 1 of 2024, under the provisions of the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China.

Citing the complexity of the case, MOFCOM has invoked Article 26 of the regulations to extend the investigation deadline to April 5, 2024. The decision underscores the ministry's commitment to a thorough review of the matter.
