AsianFin -- China Renaissance announced the appointment of Wang Lixing as its new Chief Executive Officer. Following the appointment, Wang will continue to serve as an Executive Director of the company.
Wang has been with China Renaissance since July 2007, initially starting in investment banking. From July 2007 to December 2015, he held various roles, including Analyst, Manager, Vice President of the TME department, and Director of the Corporate Finance team. From January 2016 to December 2018, he led the Financial Advisory Division, and since January 2019, he has been in his current position.
In addition to his new role as CEO, Wang remains an Executive Director, Managing Director, and Co-President of the Investment Banking Division. He was also appointed Co-President of China Renaissance in February 2024 and is a member of the Executive Committee.
Xu Yanqing, Chairwoman of China Renaissance board, expressed her confidence in Mr. Wang’s leadership. She highlighted his growth within the company over 17 years, emphasizing his integrity, pursuit of excellence, and alignment with the company’s values, which have made him a key leader for the next generation.
Wang will attend and deliver speech at the T-Edge Conference 2024 organized by TMTPost and AsianFin on December 6-7.
