AsianFin — Tencent has announced that it will gradually cease online services for the Nintendo Switch in China, including the Nintendo eShop and other network-related features, starting March 31, 2026, with full discontinuation by May 15, 2026.

This move means users will no longer be able to download games or access online multiplayer features after the specified dates.

Tencent first partnered with Nintendo to officially launch the Chinese version of the Switch in December 2019, marking a milestone for the popular gaming console in the region.
