Global shipments of smart robot vacuum cleaners reached 17.42 million units in the first three quarters of 2025, marking a year-on-year increase of 18.7%, according to IDC’s Quarterly Tracker for Global Smart Home Devices.

In the third quarter alone, shipments totaled 6.16 million units, up 22.9% compared with the same period last year.

The Middle East, Africa, and Europe emerged as key growth drivers, propelling the overall expansion of the market. Chinese manufacturers dominated the global rankings, taking all of the top five spots in shipment volume.

China’s domestic market also maintained strong momentum, with cumulative shipments reaching 4.63 million units, a 27.2% increase year-on-year. IDC noted that the sector’s ongoing growth underscores the robust health and vitality of the smart robot vacuum industry.
