Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that he has no interest in seeing Russia rejoin the Group of Seven (G7).

He noted on Thursday that the G7’s share of the global economy has been steadily declining and suggested that this trend is likely to continue. Russia was suspended from what was then the G8 in 2014.
