Samsung Electronics has raised prices on certain memory chips by as much as 60% compared with September, Reuters reported, citing two sources familiar with the matter.

The increase follows the world’s largest memory chipmaker delaying its usual October pricing announcement for supply contracts, the sources added. Samsung typically publishes monthly pricing updates for its memory products.
