Tencent Expands Climate Platform TanLIVE With Four New Global Applications

Nov 13, 2025, 9:29 p.m. ET

Tencent has unveiled the next phase of its climate innovation platform, TanLIVE, introducing four new global applications designed to enhance collaboration, transparency, and access to verified climate data.

At the forefront of the expansion is ClimateTech Search (CTS), a federated search service focused on climate technologies that helps users discover verified, actionable solutions across fragmented data sources.

Since its global debut at COP28 in partnership with the Innovate for ClimateTech (I4C) coalition, now hosted at the Global Climate Finance Centre (GCFC), TanLIVE has grown into a dynamic ecosystem connecting climate innovators, governments, and financiers to accelerate decarbonization.

The platform’s latest additions also include the UN Solutions Hub (UNSH), the Africa Climate Investment Tracker (ACIT), and TanLIVE Knowledge AI, collectively advancing the FAIR principles—making climate data findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable.
