Taiwan’s Foxconn, the world’s largest contract electronics manufacturer, reported a stronger-than-expected 17% rise in third-quarter profit on Wednesday, driven by robust demand for artificial intelligence servers — a trend the company expects will continue to fuel growth next year.
Net profit for the July–September period reached NT$57.67 billion ($1.89 billion), beating the NT$50.4 billion consensus estimate compiled by LSEG. Foxconn, the biggest server supplier for Nvidia and Apple’s primary iPhone assembler, said AI-related products remain a key growth engine going forward.
