Siddhant Awasthi, head of Tesla’s Cybertruck program, announced on Sunday that he is leaving the U.S. electric vehicle maker after more than eight years with the company.

Awasthi began his Tesla career as an intern and most recently led the Cybertruck program from its engineering phase through to large-scale production. According to his LinkedIn profile, he was responsible for product strategy, quality improvements, and supply chain management throughout the program.
